3 Effective Blog Posting Tips
Blogging to get the right kind or target traffic takes more than just sitting down and writing a blog post. It’s more about knowing the keywords to create content that makes a difference to your readers.
That’s the reason there are so many useless blogs cluttering up Cyber Space today, bloggers just aren’t getting the point of blogging when there is competition.
When you do your keyword research and find the best keywords, which doesn’t always mean the top keywords in your niche, you then need to use those keywords in the right way to get and keep your target audience as blog visitors.
You need to work to create blog posts that are more than effective, you need to create posts that help people too. How do you make sure that you do that? Let’s find that out in the article below…
You may be blogging and have different ideas about what blogging is but when it come right down to the basics blogging really just a form of article marketing. Articles or blog posts can be long articles or short articles, it doesn’t always matter.
What does matter however if that you know how to SEO or optimize your articles (posts) for search engines in order to get as much targeted traffic as it takes to meet your goal. For me, as a I work from home and blog for profit it’s about making money.
Keep Them Reading All They Way To The Click
1. My Eyes Hurt, Gotta Go
I have been on many blogs where I wondered what the blog owner was thinking with their colour scheme choice and their fonts. If I am not comfortable when reading a blog post, for whatever reason, I don’t usually stick around. Well unless it’s the only place I can find the info I am looking for.
Having a easy on the eyes blog theme can help you to keep your visitors on your site longer and that can mean more income. You have to keep them longer than it takes to hit the back button.
2. Say What You Have To Say
It’s fine landing on a blog page after conducting a search in your favourite search engine but if you have to wade through too much filler content it tends to make one want to leave and find a better site, that’s not wasting my time with non relevant filler.
Say what you have to say and stop thinking about word counts.
3. Use A Proper Keyword Density Without Spamming
It is vital to use your keywords for the post you have planned to write. To get the best results from search engines it can take a specific keyword density.
By best results I am talking about positioning in search results pages. It’s not much help to you and your bottom-line if you are on page 10 or even page 4 of search results as most people tend to redefine their search text after only checking as far as page two of the results, so page three doesn’t get many eyes on them and any thing further down than that shouldn’t expect much if any traffic.
I tend to use a keyword density somewhere between 3 and 5 percent, meaning for every one hundred words I will use my keyword 3 to 5 times. Anything less may not get any attention while having too high a keyword density may appear spammy.
Now I see a lot of people today who write for search engines and not for their human readers. Those pages are using spun to death using article spinners. Don’t get me wrong, I love my article spinner, The Best Spinner, but I use it wisely and write for humans.
Focus on writing informative blog posts and of course use your keywords with the right density but keep your human readers in mind and you should do fine. It’s when you forget about us, your readers, that things go down hill SEO wise.
